Hosting BYFROST is made easy using a dedicated server on which to securely run your BYFROST application and store your electronic archives. Depending on your preferences, BYFROST can either run on your in-house server, or a secure remote hosted server. BYFROST has been fine-tuned to run smoothly on a Linux server which is recommended. BYFROST Server Minimum Specifications

Linux, with enabled Server Globals

Plesk, for easy management

Apache v2.0 or higher

MySQL v4.1 or higher

PHP v5.0 or higher with Safe mode turned off

WGET and Mcrypt activated

SSL Certificate, for secure connection

BYFROST on in-house server

You need a dedicate server from which to run the BYFROST application and store archives. The server capacity will need to be aligned to the volume of archives you expect to be storing.

BYFROST on external server

BYFROST can be integrated with your existing remote hosting arrangements, in conjunction with your existing hosting provider. You will need to dedicate a server on which to run the Byfrost application and store archives. The server capacity will need to be aligned to the volume of archives you expect to be storing.
